MOVING BED TYPE SOLID-GAS CONTACT REACTION DEVICE HAVING DISTRIBUTOR

PURPOSE:To prevent deposition of pulverized powder by providing a cylindrical partition plate which encloses a charge supply pipe and of which the bottom end contacts with the top surface of a charger layer in the space part at a furnace top. CONSTITUTION:A distributor 3 has the effect of distributing and supplying uniformly oxide pellets into a furnace and maintaining the same angle alpha to a horizontal plane in the lower circular conical part as the angle of repose of the iron oxide pellets. The formation of a dead space in the lower part of the distributor is thus prevented. The bottom end of a partition plate 12 is extended from the bottom end of a supply pipe 2 to such as extent at which it contacts with the top end of a pellet layer contacting at an angle alpha of repose with the inside wall of a reduction furnace 4. The top end is mounted on the ceiling at the furnace top in such a way as to prevent the flow of gas to the inside and outside of the partition plate from said part.
