This profiled part comprises a first element 1 intended to be fixed to the glass 3 of the countersash window and a second element 2 intended to be fixed on the framework 4 of a window or similar, one of the two elements 1 and 2 comprising a groove 7 and the other element comprising a rib 6 which has a transverse cross section of a shape which is complementary to that of the groove and which can be engaged and locked in the latter by pressure. In order to prevent the rib 6 from disengaging from the groove 7 on the side of the countersash window chosen to serve as a hinge, the side of the rib 6 and the side of the groove 7 which are the closest to the framework 4 of the window, comprise respectively a recess 9 which is deeper and a fastening lip 10 which is wider respectively than the recess 11 and the fastening lip 12 situated on the other side of the rib and of the groove. <IMAGE>
