The rolling bearing which is lubricated for life, esp. for supporting a strut in the road wheel suspension of a motor vehicle has non-hardened races (2, 3) made by a non-cutting process. Two rings (4, 5) of resilient plastics form a casing enclosing the bearing. Each ring is L-shaped cross-section. One side of the section of each ring covers the periphery of one of the races. The other side covers the gap between the races. The two rings have inter-engaging edge portions (7, 8) which snap one into the other to secure the rings together. The rings then retain the lubricant of the bearing. |
