<p>PURPOSE:To increase capacity for absorbing shock on transmitting torque and for suppressing torsional resonance of a driven shaft and increase capacity for transmitting torque without accompanying increase in the outside diameter of an output rotary body by inserting an elastic body available for both transmitting torque and absorbing shock in a space formed by inwardly and outwardly facing recesses which are facing each other. CONSTITUTION:An output rotary body 16 comprises an annular output hub outer 32 and an output hub inner 34, which is positioned inside the hub outer 32 and fixed to a driven shaft 2 through a key 2a. Inwardly facing recesses 32a, 32b, 32c having smooth, curved surfaces are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the output hub outer 32, and similarly outwardly facing recesses 34a, 34b, 34c, having smooth, curved surfaces are formed on the outer peripheral surface of the output hub inner 34. And, elastic bodies 36a, 36b, 36c available for both transmitting torque and absorbing shock and made of elastmeric plastics material which is excellent in thermal resistance, weather resistance, etc., are inserted in the spaces between these recesses. Since the sheering and compressing effect of the elastic body is great, the capacity to absorb the shock on transmitting the torque and the capacity to suppress torsional resonance during engagement of a clutch are greatly improved.</p> |
