The invention proposes a hydrokinetic machine which has at least two mutually coaxial and concentric wheels which each carry blades and through which the flow is radial. Pressurised medium (in particular water) flows axially towards the inner wheel, which carries radial-flow guide vanes. The inner wheel is driven by means of a drive motor and rotates at a very high speed. The outer wheel is driven by the outflowing medium from the inner wheel.
