PURPOSE:To inspect easily and securely sealing defect of an non-internal-pressure hermetically sealed container which is charged and sealed at room temperature under atmospheric pressure by heating and cooling or cooling and heating the container to be inspected externally each specific time, and measuring the deformation state of the deforming part of the container to be inspected. CONSTITUTION:The container 10 to be inspected is conveyed by a belt conveyor 21 successively and heated by a blower type heating device 22. In this heating process, the air in the container 10 expands to raise the internal pressure in the container 10 according to whether there is a defective sealed part or not or the size of the defective part, thereby projecting a lid part 11 outwardly. The heated container 10 is conveyed by the belt conveyor 21 to a blower type cooling device 23 for the next process, wherein room-temperature air is blown to cool the container to the room temperature. When the container 10 is cooled to the room temperature for the specific time in this cooling process, the air in the container 10 contracts to lower its internal pressure. In this case, the container having no defective part at the sealed part never drops in internal pressure below the atmospheric pressure even when cooled to the room temperature. |
