<p>Replaying is blocked by a defined length during a fast tape transportation, whereupon the tape is moved forward by, for example, two tracks for replaying at normal speed. This process occurs alternately for a visible search run. During slow-motion replaying, the same track is scanned several times at a normal tape speed and several repetitions of the same track by rewinding the tape at increased speed with the replay channel blocked at the same time. After several scans, the tape is moved forward by 2 fields in fast forward mode, which is again followed by multiple scanning.</p> |
