A pot-plant planting kit which can be sold as a unit consists of a plant pot which is filled at least partially with soil and in which at least one separate pack filled with plant seeds is additionally introduced; the plant pot is closed by means of a removable lid which is designed such that, after being removed, it can be used as a pot base.
