PURPOSE:To facilitate easy proportional spacing to change freely the space between characters by adding the control information on the character size to the code information to change the character size. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic processor 101 transmits the sentence information equivalent to a page to an information output device 200. This sentence information is stored in a page unit code information storage device 103, and the control information is stored in a page unit control information storage device 104. The processor 101 transmits a print command when the output is through with the character information equivalent to a page. A control part 105 extracts the character code information and the control information out of the devices 103 and 104 and writes them to a line unit information storage device 106. A character generating part 107 is accessed in accordance with both character code and control information written to the device 106 to obtain a font image F. |
