PURPOSE:To perform the unitary and generation controls of a program by saving automatically a using source program and an execution type program to a storage file device when the resources are released after the operation is over with a processing system. CONSTITUTION:When the operation is over with a processing system comprising a console 1, a file device 2, a magnetic tape 3, a processor 4 and a main storage device 7, a system release instruction SR is supplied from the console 1. The instruction SR is sent to a processing part 6 via a control part 5 to start a starting program. Then the part 6 works to actuate a control program MP to give an access to a file 8; and then a table T is read to check the presence or absence of correction in the column (b) for a source program P3 of the present generation and a finished or unfinished state of save in the column (c) respectively. If the save is unfinished, a saving program V is activated, then the program P3 of the file 2 is stored to a tape 3. The same processing is carried out after checking the column (e) with an execution type program EB3 of the present generation. This realizes the unitary and generation controls of programs. |
