PURPOSE:To extract easily a specific target in pulse radar device by providing in a means of performing the Haar conversion of a two-dimensional search pattern and a means of performing the reverse Haar conversion of a signal passed through a band-pass filter, and extracting a target from the search pattern. CONSTITUTION:A target extracting device which employs Haar conversion in a figure consists of a Haar converter 19, band-pass filter 20, reverse Haar converter 21, and extracted target pattern. The target pattern 13 processed by the Haar converter 19 is convrted into load coefficients matrixes 17 and 18. Then, the band-pass filter is made to operate on those load coefficient matrixes to remove components 17 by an island pattern 14 and a rain clutter pattern 15; and the reverse Haar converter 21 extracts the two-dimensional picture pattern 22 wherein only target information is left. The Haar converter 19 is a hardware of algorithm for fast orthogonal conversion and is an exclusive computing element consisting of an adder and a shift register. |
