PURPOSE:To provide a reed valve device having good sealing performance, which shall present a high rigidity under that high pressure likely when the valve is opened, by forming the reed valve through piling-up of leaves having different stiffnesses, by giving its valve open side a low stiffness compared with the valve close side, and thereby allowing easy valve opening motion even by a minor differential pressure. CONSTITUTION:A reed valve 15 is composed of two leaves 151, 152 with different stiffnesses piled one over the other in the thickness direction, where the leaf 151 on the neg. pressure side shall have a higher stiffness while the one 152 on the back pressure side a lower stiffness. In the suction stroke, the neg. pressure on B side is higher than the neg. pressure on A side, but their differential pressure is not large. The leaf 152 with lower stiffness deflects easily to open the opening part 14 by means of separating from the valve seat 131, in order to make suction of the mixture. In the scavenging stroke, on the other hand, the back pressure is going to deflect it toward the neg. pressure side on carburettor side, but the deflection is limited to the minimum because the leaf 151 with higher stiffness of this reed valve 15 contacts the periphery of the valve seat 131, which is thus sealed closely while bearing the high back pressure. |
