The object of the invention is a method for the continuous packaging of explosive cartridges in plastic flexible tubes produced by pneumatic extrusion, which are cut to length by automatic welding and cutting devices. During this process, the air fed to the blowing head for pneumatic extrusion of the plastic flexible tube is sucked away by a slide-in tube which is used for continuous delivery of the explosive cartridges in batches. The plastic flexible tube is cut to length without additional perforation in a single operating cycle by means of a welding and cutting device which moves in the direction of feed and is known per se. The invention facilitates in an advantageous fashion the removal of air from the plastic flexible tube, production of explosive cartridge packaging which is completely sealed without exerting stress on the welding seams, and more economical production.
