PURPOSE:To use at least one of wirings between a processor and an input device having plural contacts as a signal line and transmitting the data again to obtain a normal state again when a collision of data is detected after checking the transmission data and the data on the signal line. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is applied, a CPU10 executes the program of an ROM11 and transfers the data stored in a disk 4 to a program memory 12. Then the keyboard of an input part 3 is operated to display characters at a CRT display part 2 via a key input CE16 and the CPU10 and to edit sentences. In such a way, the data is transferred between the part 3 and a main control circuit 5. However the thickness of a cable 6 is naturally limited, and at least one of the cables 6 is used as a signal line to transmit the data in both ways. When a transmission request is delivered, the level on the signal line is immediately checked to detect the collision of data. If the collision of data is detected, the data is transmitted again after a fixed period of time. Thus it is possible to secure a normal state again despite a malfunction due to noises. |
