<p>A permanent color photographic picture obtained by forming a latent image on a base plate durable against high-temperature baking utilizing the art of light-sensitive resin, forming an image according to dry development using a toner containing an inorganic pigment, and baking at high temperature; and a process for obtaining the picture. This process involves an easier baking step than that in conventional wet process development, and is extremely advantageous for producing permanent color photographic picture. A very excellent image quality can be attained by subjecting the light-sensitive element to an image portion-swelling step prior to the development step, and color images can be obtained, if desired, by providing the baking step merely once in the last stage of the whole processing. In this case, sufficiently good color reproduction can be attained by selecting a proper combination of pigments. The resulting permanent image is absolutely different from the obtained by conventional printing art in that it has good resolution and gradation as well as good color reproduction. </p> |
