An injection head contains a passage (12, 13), through which a stream of plasticised material can be fed under pressure. The said passage contains two parts (12, 13), following each other in the flow direction of the material, one of which (12) is designed as a fixed element (10), whilst the second (13) is designed as a rotatable element (11). At the transition between the two parts (12, 13) of the passage, the two elements (10, 13) are disposed with free play between them so that at least one gap (22) between two opposing surfaces (16, 17, 20, 21), which are rotatable with respect to each other, results, which gap extends inwards between the two elements (10, 11) of the said transition. A small part of the material stream fed through the passage is diverted from a part (12') of the passage (12, 13) at a distance from the transition to a part of the gap (22) at a distance from the transition, from where the diverted partial stream is forcibly fed back to the passage through the gap (22). <IMAGE>
