A lightweight transport carriage is fitted with a swing for the pivotable reception of a bed pan, to the lid of which a suction device comprising a fan and a filter is connected via a hose. Due to the arrangement of the swing the bed pan remains in a horizontal position irrespective of the movements of the carriage.
