PURPOSE:To facilitate an easy debug of a program by carrying out the transfer of data between a data bus of a microcomputer and a simulator which is connected via an IC socket for general-pupose input/output interface provided to the microcomputer. CONSTITUTION:An IC socket 10 for general-purpose I/O interface (PPI) is provided to a target system T of a microcomputer consisting of a CPU1, a bus 2, an RAM3 and an ROM4. The socket 10 is connected to a simulation circuit 13 via a driver receiver 11 and a bus 12. The circuit 13 consists of a buffer which reads the data out of the bus of the system T and latches it to write the data to said bus, a comparator which compares the output of the latch with the contents of a data setting means, a counter, etc. Then the data is fed from an operation part 15 while looking at a display part 14. Thus it is possible to perform a debug of the system T of the microcomputer before an external device is completed. |
