alpha -Cyclopropyl- alpha -phenylacetate and salts thereof, corresponding to the formula <IMAGE> (I) wherein R1 is hydrogen, methyl, cyano or ethinyl, X1 is hydrogen, halogen, C1-C5-alkyl, C1-C5-haloalkyl or C1-C5-alkoxy, X2 is hydrogen, halogen or C1-C5-alkyl, or together with X1 is methylenedioxy, and X3 and X4 are hydrogen or halogen. Processes for producing these alpha -cyclopropyl- alpha -phenylacetates and their use for controlling pests are described. |
