A portable, especially a travelling conveyor road with a plurality of belt supports which form a row following the line of the belt and which are connected to one another at their ends, at least every other belt support not being torsionally stiff and being connected to other belt supports of the same type on the one hand by means of connections receiving forces in a horizontal plane, i.e. forces along the line of and at right angles to the conveyor road, and on the other hand by means of two connections receiving vertical forces.
