PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of discharge by small power by supplying a material at a specific temperature, cooling the first half of a raw material supply section by a screw and elevating the temperature of the material up to approximately the melting temperature of polystyrene until the material enters a compressing section. CONSTITUTION:The material is supplied at 45-70 deg.C, and the temperature of the material is elevated up to approximately the melting temperature of 143.3 deg.C of polystyrene until it enters the compressing section. The first half 2D-5D (D represents a screw diameter) of the supply of a raw material is cooled because the raw material and up to approximately 140 deg.C in the vicinity of the compressing section in order to reduce a friction coefficient muS of a polymer and a screw surface. Polystyrene can also be molded by the screw effective for a crystalline polymer. |
