The present invention relates to a solar collector of the type comprising a box having one open face which receives at least one wall (5) which is permeable to solar radiation, an internal wall (13) of said box constituting absorber, and a heat exchanger (9) included in the box and in which there circulates or there is situated a heat- exchanging fluid which is heated by the air or any other gas subjected to solar heating in said box. The collector according to the invention is characterised essentially in that, on the interior of the box, between the front wall (5) which is permeable to solar radiation and the wall (13) which constitutes an absorber, there is mounted an intermediate wall (14) which is permeable to solar radiation and joined to two of the sides of the box and the upper and lower edges of which are at a distance from the other two sides of the box, and in that the exchanger (9) is arranged in a joined manner with the sides of the box, in the region of the upper communication passage of the front and rear pipes made in the box.
