BACKIZING COMPOSITIONS FOR TEXTILES

Textile materials, preferably carpets, are backsized with a composition comprising (a) a natural or synthetic polymeric latex (b) a filler, and (c) a fixing agent for anionic dyestuffs. The resulting textile materials are fast to water spotting.
