PURPOSE:To enable the cooling action to be effectively performed in the case of a cutting machine, by removably providing a cutting wheel in flanges, having plural radial grooves and a fluid collecting groove in the internal peripheral face of the radial groove, in the periphery of said grooved part and supplying cutting fluid through the groove. CONSTITUTION:The first flange 3, radially drilling plural grooves 2 and fixed by a nut 4 to the end of a spindle 1 rotating at a high speed, holds a cutting wheel 5 to be mounted and fixed by a nut 7 with the second flange 6 drilling plural grooves 2', and a funnel shaped fluid collecting groove is formed in the internal peripheral surface. Then grinding fluid from a nozzle 8 is allowed to flow via the groove 2 at a speed increased by centrifugal force and supplied along a side face of the cutting wheel 5 to a ground point or the like, enabling the cooling action and the chip discharge action to be sufficiently performed. In such way, only a small amount of grinding fluid is required causing a machine to operate with an easy countermeasure of waterproof further with the improvement of grinding accuracy, and a less distortion is generated in a ground work, further a life of the wheel can be increased. |
