PURPOSE:To obtain a performance end detecting means of a low cost by using sheet metals to form the greater part of a pickup plate, a detection lever, etc. CONSTITUTION:A performance end detecting means consists of a detection lever 161 and a pickup plate 123. The hook part 162 of the lever 161 hooks a projection 163 of the plate 123, and a hook part 164 abuts a start piece 92 on a main gear 15. The lever 161 oscillates before a tone arm 8 is returned and is reset within the rotary locus of the projection 163 so that the part 162 is shunted outside the turning locus of the projection 163 and that the part 162 hooks the projection 163 after a lead-in action. The working of the performance end detecting means interlocks the reciprocating motions of a slide plate 93. |
