PURPOSE:To form a cylindrical body having a uniform distribution of curvature in rewinding a band steel from a coil, bending it by a bending machine and forming into a cylindrical form by a rotary guide ring, by specifying the distance between the centers of the bending machine and guide ring. CONSTITUTION:A band steel is rewound from the band steel wound on a pay off reel 2, and the band steel 4 bent by a three-roll vertical type bending machine 3 is wound on a rotating guide ring 5. When the band steel is wound once on the rotating guide ring 5, it is cut at a position A and hung out from the guide ring 5. Then, a cylindrical body is manufactured by welding both ends of the band steel. When the center of the bending machine 3 is taken as a reference point of X, Y coordinate, and the center position C of the rotary guide roll 5 having radius R(m) is taken as X, Y, a cylindrical body free from deformation and having uniform distribution of curvature can be obtained by putting Y=0, X=1.2R+1.5(m). |
