<p>PURPOSE:To enable molding of a self-hardening mold with a series of operations by disposing a movable blow head and a cover for blowing heating air above a lifting table for attaching a bottom metallic mold and attaching a top metallic mold on the bottom surface of the blow head. CONSTITUTION:A bottom metallic mold 9 carried on raised rolls 13 and brought into the machine is imposed on a table 4 and is clamped thereto when a lifting table 4 is moved upward by a cylinder 2. The mold 9 is adhered to a top metallic mold 9 attached to a blow head 16 upon ascending of the table 4. The green sand in the blow head 16 which is supplied therein with the sand from a hopper 39 is forced and packed into the molds 9, 19 by the compressed air blown into the head 16. The table 4 is lowered and a cover member 20 is moved, then the mold 9 is again moved upward so as to enter the cover 20. The molding sand is dried and solidified by the hot wind from a hole 31. The mold 9 is lowered, and an ejector pin 10 is moved upward by a cylinder 11 to push out the molded sand.</p> |
