摘要 PURPOSE:To allow compactness, low cost and yet enhanced reliability by causing the refrigerant to flow in an intake passage by such an arrangement that when the pressure in the inlet passage connected to a valve body is exceeds a specified value, a protruding piece is pressed to allow a valve to rotate to communicate a communicating passage in the valve from the inlet to outlet. CONSTITUTION:A valve body 14 is connected with an inlet 15 and an outlet 16, and a communicating passage 20 which connects the inlet 15 and a valve port 21. In a valve chamber 18 which is communicated to the valve port 21, a protruding piece 22 to receive the pressure from the inlet 15 and a rotatable valve 17 having a communicating passage 25 which can be aligned with the mouths 15a, 16a of the inlet 15 and outlet 16 are provided. The protruding piece 22 is normally biased toward the communicating passage 20 by a spring 24. When over loaded, the refrigerant condensed in a heat exchanger acts upon the inlet 15, and when the pressure exceeds the spring force of the spring 24, the protruding piece 22 is pushed to cause the valve 17 to rotate. As a result, the degree of alignment between the communicating passage 25 and the ports 15a, 16a is determined, and the flow rate of the refrigerant is controlled.
