PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet head having a high reliability by using a heat-resistant adhesive as an adhesive to bond a piezo-electric vibrator to a vibrating plate. CONSTITUTION:A piezo-electric vibrator 6 having electrodes on its both sides is bonded to the vibrating plate 5 of an ink jet head. When AC voltage is applied from a drive circuit 7 to the piezo-electric vibrator 6, the vibrator 6 undergoes a strain and a flexing vibration occurs in the vibrating plate 5. Since the vibrator 6 is bonded with the vibrating plate 5 through an adhesive layer 11, it seems that the thickness of the adhesive layer 11 becomes 10mum or less by heating and pressure, but judging data on tensile shearing strength shown on the attached table, it is considered that elasticity modulus at high temperatures of AW106/ HV953U is predicted to be reduced but that of AV138/HV988 is almost similar at both ordinary temperature and high temperature. Since charging action on ink liquid within the charging electrode is stabilized, printing can thus be stabilized and a high reliability of ink jet head can be obtained. |
