PURPOSE:To provide automatic extinguishing for preventing dangerous condition by a method wherein one end of an engagement member is displaced by a plunger of a solenoid when deenergized and the other end of the engagement member is disengaged from a ratchet gear. CONSTITUTION:In a kerosene stove in which discharged gas is forcedly circulated into a room by a fan, a solenoid 23 is fixed to an angle 19a with abutment pieces 19C, 19D formed at the angle 19a. A plunger 67 is controlled for its attracting operation under a solenid 23 and arranged at the upper position opposing to a free end 51C of engagement member 51. The plunger 67 is retracted to its solid line position when the solenoid 23 is energized and in turn is descended to a dot-line position under a reaction force of a spring (not shown) when deenergized. Thus, in case that an energization of solenoid 23 is terminated, the plunger 67 pushes the free end 51C of the engagement member 51 downwardly, an engagement pin 54 is forcedly rotated in a counter-clockwise direction to release the engagement with the ratchet gear 50. |
