PURPOSE:To maintain accurately the temperature of a gas detection element at the desired temperature, by using a resistance heating unit varying the resistance value by a rise in temperature. CONSTITUTION:A sensitive material 6 of a gas sensor 2 is heated by a heat generating resistor 8 such as platinum paste of which electric resistance value is highly depending on the temperature and the desired temperature is maintained accurately without affected by surrounding wind velocity or variance of element characteristics. As the result, selective specific gas detection is performed surely keeping the detection sensitivity constant. |
