PURPOSE:To increase the circulating force of heating medium by activating the foam pumping action of a heating medium in a solar water heater, by increasing the heat collecting rate per unit length of a heat collecting tube where liquid remains by widening the tube pitch of a heat collecting tube in the lower part of a heat collecting plate, and by reducing the pitch in the upper part of a heat collecting plate. CONSTITUTION:The tube pitch of a heat collecting tube 18 is made large in the lower part of a heat collecting plate 16, while it is made small in the upper part of a heat collecting plate 16, so that the heat collecting rate of a heat collecting tube per unit length is made larger than the other part, while the rate of absorbing heat is increased in the lower part of a heat collecting tube 18 where a heating medium in liquid phae remains. The foam pumping action of a heating medium is activated in this part, a large quantity of heating medium is boiled and briskly rises up along the heat collecting tube 18 when solar radiation is strong. The heating medium is turned into two phases flows of gas and liquid, and the liquified part of the medium absorbs evaporating latent heat from the heat collecting plate 16 while it passes through the upper part of a heat collecting tube 18 where the pitch of a tube 18 is made small. Almost all the liquid is evaporated and the heat is transferred to a radiator 19. In such a manner, the solar heat collected by the heat collecting plate 16 can be transferred into the radiator 19 efficiently and at a large quantity. |
