PURPOSE:To economize the power consumption by connecting a switch which is operated in a prescribed period at the time of charg and discharge, between a time constant circuit and a driving electric power source. CONSTITUTION:A monostable multivibrator is constituted of a switching circuit having a trigger terminal 20 and an output terminal 22, and time constant elements 4, 6 whose charge and discharge are controlled by the switching circuit 18. On the other hand, interlocking resistances 14, 16 are connected between an electric power source terminal 2 and the time constant element 4, and between a connecting point P of the time constant element and an earth. These switches 14, 16 are opened and closed basing on a trigger input provided to the input terminal 20. That is to say, when the trigger input exists, the switch 16 is opened and the switch 14 is closed. When the capacitor 6 is charged and reaches the reference voltage, the switch 16 is closed and the switch 14 is opened. By constituting in this way, a period of electric conduction to the resistance 4 is shortened, therefore, the power consumption can be reduced. |
