PURPOSE:To make possible to decide concentration of each component in a sample gas by providing a means in which a measuring gas and a reference gas are passed serially to the same sensor through a column and an arithmetic means, and obtaining a difference between the detected outputs of both gases for every period of each sampling. CONSTITUTION:A reference gas consisting of a carrier gas GT and a measuring gas in which a definite amount of gas to be tested is introduced into the carrier gas GT are passed serially to a column 30 in a definite sampling period by receiving a control signal from a CPU52. A control signal is sent to a valve system 20 from the CPU20 in accordance with the program and at the same time a control signal for adjusting the sensitivity of a detector 40 is sent according to the elapsed time of each components in the same sample gas for every sampling period. On the other hand, the concentrations of each component are calculated by fetching the detected outputs of a detector 40. Consequently, it is possible to use only one sensor, to make a matching operation unnecessary, and to avoid the generation of errors. |
