PURPOSE:To prevent exactly superposition and separation of a picture element on a scanning line by giving and setting a moving extent of an output head in the sub-scanning direction by a command input address, and executing a scanning start in the main scanning direction from a fixed original point at all times. CONSTITUTION:In case of a picture element P1 (address X3, Y3) in some scanning line corresponds to a final picture element 4 of a picture 2, a sub-scanning start position to color paper 31 on an output drum is given by a deviation of a command input address from a microprocessor and a position signal from a linear encoder, and also a main scanning start position of the output head is given from a prescribed original point position Y0 on the output drum, by which superposition and separation of a picture element P2 (address X4, Y3) on a scanning line of the output head to a recording face (color paper 31) of the output drum are prevented. |
