PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance and to enhance measuring accuracy, by providing spheres between coupling members, which are provided on two shafts transmitting rotary torque, yielding thrust forces in the directions separating the coupling members each other, and measuring the deformation of a casing by a strain gages. CONSTITUTION:A casing 5 is fixed to the frame of a machine through a supporting leg 29 and used under the state the rotation is stopped. The rotary torque of a shaft 8A is transmitted to a shaft B through spheres 7, which are supported by supporting holes 26. Owing to said torque, a force, which tends to push the sphere 7 out of the supprotingh hole 26 along a slant surface 27, is yielded and becomes a thrust force, which tends too separate coupling members 6A and 6B each other. Said thrust force is concentrated on a groove part 25 in the casing 5, which regulates the movement in the direction of the coupling members 6A and 6B, and the groove part 25 is deformed. Said deformation acts on strain gages 2A and 2B, and electric resistance is changed. |
