PURPOSE:To obtain an air cell, fuel cell having excellent discharge characteristic and stock characteristic by applying reduction substance on an air electrode. CONSTITUTION:Reduction substance containing reduction catalyst, conductive agent, water repellent substance and binder having electrolyte holding capacity is applied on one face of a current collecting body and arranged while facing with electrolyte holding material. 10wt% of water repellent substance and 2wt% of binder having electrolyte holding capacity or methyl cellulose powder are added to 8wt% of active carbon having conductive agent function containing reduction catalyst then formed into a sheet having thickness of 0.2-0.3mm. to produce a redduction substance 12 which is applied integrally onto a nickel net current collecting body 4 to produce an air electrode 3. |
