<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the structure and control of a paper feeding device, by forming a cam surface for control member operation at the side of a copying machine provided with an engaging surface in both cassette setting and rectangular directions at the side of a cassette, while making up the cam surface so as to perform selection from paper feeding to non-paper feeding and vice versa. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 8 is inserted into a copying machine while being undergone of regulation from a side guide plate and its upward control, a roller 18 comes into contact with an incline 96 which presses the roller downward. When the cassette 8 is made more to go ahead, a selector lever 35 interlocked with the roller 18 turns around a shaft 36 whereby its tip becomes as high as a lever engaging open level (unillustrated herein) of the cassette 8, and a paper feed roller 19 engages with the top of the cassette 8. When the cassette further advances, the roller 18 hits a vertical direction engaging surface 94 of the roller 18, thus preparations for paper feeding comes to fruition. With this constitution, the structure and control of a device can be simplified.</p> |
