PURPOSE:To improve release possibility in an in-focus state by providing an automatic focus adjusting device which places automatically a photographic lens in the in-focus state, and detecting the operation of an automatic focus adjusting device and increasing an interval of release automatically during the operation. CONSTITUTION:A camera body C, lens barrel L, and motor driving device MD are provided. The camera body C is provided with an automatic focus adjusting circuit 1, shutter release control circuit 2, and photographic condition introducing circuit 3. The circuit 1 applies a driving signal to the lens barrel L to move the lens 7 to an in-focus position. A resistance VRf is varied according to focal length and the circuit 3 generates a voltage output corresponding to subject brightness and the focal length. The release interval control circuit 10 of the device MD has the timer circuit consisting of resistances R1-R8, capacitors C1 and C2, transistors (TR) Q1 and Q2, and a comparator CP, and the output of the circuit 3 is inputted to output a release inhibition signal to a motor driving control circuit 8. When the circuit 1 is in operation, the release interval is increased. |
