PURPOSE:To automatize the winding of metal wire, changing of bobbins and carrying-out of the products, and as well to enhance the working efficiency, by providing a robot mounted on a carrier vehicle travelling on rails and having a free arm, and a rotary table for changing an empty bobbing with a full bobbin. CONSTITUTION:When a metal wire is wound onto a bobbin 42 to a predetermined diameter, upon detection of this condition a rotary table 38 rotates counterclockwise by 180 deg. so that the bobbin 42 is moved to a carrying-out position Y and a new empty bobbin 44 standing by is moved to a winding position X. Then, after the winding-up of the metal wire being completed, a control instruction is issued to make a vehicle 12 carrying robot 14 travel on rails 10, or to extend a free arm 16 for making a bracket move to the winding position X so that the belt surface of an endless belt is pressed against the outer periphery of the empty bobbin 44 with the metal wire being pressed and held between the belt and the outer periphery of the bobbin. Next, after the metal wire is cut by a cutter, the bobbin 44 is initiated to rotate for completing the winding-up of the metal wire onto the bobbin 44. Thereby, the process from the step of winding a metal wire to the step of changing bobbins may be automatized. |
