PURPOSE:To make the delivery of paper piece by piece securable, by installing a front end regulating piece of laminate thick paper and an engaging pad being projected upward as long as more the specified length than the former, in a snubber tip, in case of a paper handling snubber for a thick paper feeding device for copying machines. CONSTITUTION:Sheets of thick paper P are housed inside a cassette tray 1 in a state of being stacked, while a pair of snubbers 3 are engaged with a front end part of the thick paper P. With this method, the lower end of a screw 6a hits topper surface of the stacked thick paper P whereby a paper regulating piece 7a and a pad 8 both engage with a front end of the thick paper P. A difference in height between the lower end of the screw 6a and the paper regulating piece 7a should be set to a portion for one piece to several pieces of the thick paper P. Under this condition, when the cassette tray 1 is set to a copying machine, the thick paper P hits a feed roller whereby the topmost thick paper P advances forward as slackening the pad 8 frontward, and the next thick paper P is checked its way by the frictional resistance of the pad 8, thus paper feeding piece by piece can be achieved with certainty. |
