The invention relates to a method and a device for door security which allows its opening only after a two-level check and compliance with various timings. The device is constituted by a lock 1, its key 2 and an electronic protection device provided with a key recognition device 3. The part of the key subjected to the recognition procedure comprises perforations produced according to a predetermined code and the opening is only possible after recognition of the shape of the key and of its coded combination. <IMAGE>
