PURPOSE:To attain surely H phase comparison by using a reference H signal obtained from a reference synchronizing signal generator so as to control a operating point of a non-triggerable monostable multivibrator constituting an H producing circuit. CONSTITUTION:A composite video signal inputted to a terminal T1 is separated 1 for composite synchronism, applied to a non-triggerable monostable multivibrator 2 and only an H signal is applied to a monostable multivibrator 3. This H signal is given to a sample-and-hold circuit 6 as a sampling pulse. The pulse width of the generated reference H signal from a reference signal generating circuit 4 is changed by a monostable multivibrator 7 and the reference H signal is extracted. The reference H signal controls the operation of the monostable multivibrator 2, waveform-shaped 5 and a reference horizontal sawtooth wave is obtained from it output. Then, the shift in time axis of the H signal is a level change in response to the slope of the sawtooth wave from the circuit 5 and the time axis error signal is outputted from the circuit 6 by transmitting the sawtooth wave from the circuit 5 to the circuit 6 and sampling and holding the circuit 6 by the H signal from the monostable multivibrator 3. |
