PURPOSE:To provide a device which balances the upper and lower press fitting pressures of punches and produces a tip having uniform quality by adjusting the rolling reduction of an upper punch with respect to a stationary lower punch by means of a cam and a rocking lever mechanism, adjusting the position of dies by the hydraulic cylinders attached to upper and lower rams. CONSTITUTION:The positional relation between a floating die 11 and an upper punch 7 is such that the rolling reduction of an upper punch is determined when the movement of a rocking lever 27 interlocked to a cam 31 and the die 11 is transmitted to the punch 7 interlocked to a rack 26 and a rod 24. The rolling reduction of a lower punch 12 with respect to the die 11 is determined by the descending distance of a lower pressure plate 20 by a hydraulic cylinder 50. The rolling reductions of the punches 7, 12 with respect to the die 11 are determined by the angle theta of the cam 31 and the movement of the lever 27 according to the position of the plate 20 as well as the descending distance of the plate 20. A tip having good quality is formed as the rolling reductions of the punches 7, 12 are balanced in the above-mentioned way. |
