Device for removing a sealing agent at a door or a window

For a new coat of paint or for re-glazing windows or doors, the sealing agent, e.g. a putty, arranged at the transition between the edges of the panes and the frame has to be removed. Provided for this purpose is a cutting device which has a supporting plate (1) displaceable on the pane and a driven cutter (2) arranged next to the supporting plate (1). The axis (3) of rotation of the cutter (2) is orientated at right angles to the bearing plane (4) of the support plate (1). The end face (5) of the cutter (2) is flush with the bearing plane (4) of the supporting plate (1) or is set back slightly relative to the latter. Such a cutting device can be displaced on the pane, in the course of which the sealing agent arranged at the edges can be neatly removed by means of the cutter (2). <IMAGE>
