The object of the invention is to create a simple capability which shuts down the microcomputer-controlled machine in the event of a defect in a component. The solution is for this machine to contain a microcomputer which is connected to a peripheral circuit to whose outlet an electronic switch is connected for cutting off the power source from the monitoring element, which is formed by a capacitor or a resistor, and to which at least one monitored circuit is connected, the monitoring element being connected to the peripheral circuit of the microcomputer by means of a resistor and a zener diode.
