PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance of a heat pipe while preventing contact corrosion by a dissimilar material without using any brazing material by performing all joining including joining of a pipe body for the heat pipe and cover bodies by inert gas arc welding. CONSTITUTION:The positions to be joined include joining of the opening at the end of a pipe body 1 and cover bodies 2, 3, joining of the cover body 3 to a feed pipe 4 for working liquid, and joining of narrowed small ports 6, 7 at the end of the body 8 and a feed pipe 9 for working liquid passed through said parts. Inert gas arc welding may be either of TIG welding and MIG welding, and there is no need for using any brazing material. Water 5, 12 are fed as the working liquid through the pipes 4, 9 into vessels 10, 11 for the heat pipe. |
