PURPOSE:To reduce loss of the consumed energy by sending the air pressure- boosted through heat exchange with exhaust gas to a dynamic pressure type gas bearing, by reducing mechanical loss at the bearing part, and thereby eliminating source of compressed air. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas is introduced into an exhaust gas chamber 10 through a turbine incoming pipe 5 and an exhaust gas pipe 8, and in this chamber 10 heat exchange is carried out between the air in an air storage tank 11 and the exhaust gas. A valve 15 is opened in the timing the pressure in said tank 11 has risen, and the boosted air passes through a boosted air leadout pipe 14 to be sent for a sold contact part between a dynamic pressure type gas bearing 4 and the shaft 3, through a thin hole 16 which serves as a static pressure type gas bearing. The boosted air will float the turbine blades 2 and shaft 3 to provide prevention of solid contact between said dynamic pressure type bearing 3 and the shaft. At the same time as the valve 15 being opened, a valve 9 will block the inlet of an exhaust gas conduit 8 to cause introduction of the exhaust gas to the turbine casing 1. |
