KNOCK-OUT DEVICE FOR CASTING MOLD

PURPOSE:To enable sepn. of a product and molding sand with each flask by providing a means which holds normally an exciter of a mold knock-out device in a horizontal attitude and displaces the same in a forward inclining attitude in the stage of ejecting the product. CONSTITUTION:The molding sand 8 and product 9 removed forcibly from a casting mold are carried from a receiving base 16 into the 1st exciter 17 stading by in a horizontal attitude. The sand 8 and the product 9 are oscillated by an oscillation motor 23 on an oscillation table 21 and are thus separated. The sand 8 is recovered through a chute 22 for recovering the sand. the outlet 20 of the exciter 17 is projected into the inlet 19 of the 2nd exciter 18, then the outlet 20 is opened by moving upward an opening and closing cylinder 50. On the other hand, a dump cylinder 33 is moved upward to change the exciter into the forward inclining attitude with the outlet 20 of the exciter 17 on the lower side. The product 9 is then moved onto the oscillation table 21 of the 2nd exciter 18 to separate the remaining molding sand and thereafter the exciter 18 is tilted forward and the product 9 is loaded through the outlet 20 into a conveyor bucket under standing-by.
