Toy figure having a core of flexible material and an elastic textile coating, the core comprising a longitudinal section of an endless strip on profiled flexible material which is bent together with its textile outer jacket for simulation of the human shape or the shape of an animal or is tied several times along its length to form head, trunk and limbs of a figure.
